Body Worn Camera Program

In August 2017 and in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, Medford Township Police Department initiated the Body Worn Camera Program for the proper and lawful operation of the body worn audio/video camera systems to all sworn officers.. The AXON body worn camera is worn by all Medford Township Police Officers while on duty and during their performance of their duties. The below images depict the AXON body worn camera and where they are worn on the Medford Township uniformed and non-uniformed officers. Uniformed Officers

BWC’s are worn on the chest and must be manually activated by the Officer.
